Best Wedding Photography of 2021 - Harry Michael Photography
In the words of the immortal Jay… 2021, completed it mate.
Going through a seasons worth of photos is little task I love doing in January for this post, but sifting through them and choosing just 100ish is something I find damn near impossible! But alas I’ve done it, the best of 2021… and oh what a year that was.
Kicking off back in May albeit with a few of those pesky restrictions in place, I was still so excited to be back to doing what I love on a more regular basis. Fast forward to now, I’ve shot 49 weddings, re-visited some of my favourite premier inns and even managed to get on a few planes again for weddings. Tell you one thing, if I never saw another passenger locator form again, it would be too soon! But luckily the trips to Greece, Italy and France all went off without a hitch and all that extra admin and homework was well worth it. Come to think of it, It was all oh so worth it to see the rammed dancefloors, rooms filled with the chatter from more than 30 people and the hugs, the hugs where you don’t have to state your vaccination status before leaning in for them! It was challenging at times, but I loved this season, with absolute belters in London, The Cotswolds and other parts of this great country, it’s been a season I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Finally a thank you to all of those who chose me to be the one to seal these memories in photographic form for them. An extra tight hug to all those who waited that extra year longer for their day. I’ll repeat what I said to you all at the end of the night, “It was worth it right!?”
So, hope this isn’t too long and boring for you guys to scroll through, was a bit harder this year with so many images to choose from, but here’s 100 ish of my faves from this year! All selected for no other reason than I personally dig them.
