“O MY GOD. I honestly don’t have words. That slideshow! My eye balls are like golf balls this morning. You smashed it! We’ve watched the slideshow 3 times already and I’ve not stopped looking through the pics, can’t get over what you captured!”

Ohhhh I’m so up to my eyeballs in editing it’s ridiculous, but I’ve just pressed export on another gallery so we have 10 minutes to move onto the next thing on the to-do list and that list reads “GET CHAR AND MIKEY UP ON THE BLOG!” But Where do I start!? Maybe with how I met Char? Sounds good.

So, I first met Char back in the vintage year of 2018! (My first full time year) on my debut visit to the wonderful Iscoyd Park where Charlotte is one of the event managers and she just so happened to be managing my wedding that day. The very epic wedding of Sarah and Lee! I’ve posted about them a couple of times…Anyways I remember just how cool, calm and collected Charlotte made that day, and me still being a bit of a noobie very much appreciated it!

Fast forward to 2019 with a few more iscoyd visits and morning coffees with Charlotte in the bag, one day the email finally landed with the subject “Will you shoot my wedding!?” and with GREAT heartache I had to respond “Sorry, I’m booked!” Honestly I love every single couple that books me, but I admit I had a moment of cursing that couples name just because the chance to shoot for someone who was so pivotal in the start of my “career” would have been epic. Anyways, fast forward a bit more through 2020 where, you guessed it, the C word hit Charlotte and the wedding plans had to change. Again… I was not free! Curses!!!

But finally the stars aligned and I was finally free for date three of Charlotte and Mike’s big shindig at Lea Manor farm up in Cheshire. In terms of the day itself, it was nothing short of perfection, but you’d expect that from a wedding planner wouldn’t you? However, Charlotte didn’t plan for her own brother injuring himself riding a plastic zebra on the dance floor!! Or did she!? Oh you heard me… a plastic zebra!! You’ll see.

Was also great to finally work with the ace team over at Shutterbox films and it’s always amazing to see Matt from Red Florals incredible work! I mean, this guy knows what he’s doing with flowers!!! He take’s go big or go home quite literally!!

So here it is, Charlotte and Mike… one hell of a zebra riding duo!
