At Home Orangery Wedding Photography, Hertfordshire - Ashleigh + Dan
“Thanks so much for all the photos, they are exquisite and everyone has been raving about them, we’re so so happy with everything you captured on the day, thank you! You were the one supplier for our wedding that I was most excited about, and you did not disappoint!
Staying until the bitter end, sending previews the next day, and capturing the whole day perfectly, you’ve gone above and beyond our expectations.”
Okay okay. I’m gonna let you all in on a little secret. After leaving a wedding when I get in my car, and just before cranking Natasha Bedingfield on full volume, I open up the voice memo app and just pour out some highlights and generally emotions of what I just experienced for the past 14 hours. Just so I remember when it comes to writing captions for instagram, or most importantly, this stage! The blog writing stage. So when I opened up the memo from Ashleigh and Dan’s at home English Garden Wedding from back in June, I was kind of left with nothing because when I listened all I could hear were the kind of incoherent ramblings you’d expect from a child on Christmas morning!
Luckily for me and anyone actually reading this I remember plenty of that day just from looking back over this blog post, and what I can tell you is it was a truly epic event Ashleigh and Dan hosted. It all went down at Ashleigh’s family home in Hertfordshire, with a Glass Orangery style Marquee in the garden. It was an absolute visual feast every corner. I mean we’re talking Champagne towers, outdoor ceremony, florals everywhere, incredible fashion and the dance floor was just insane! I mean it had to be. There was literally dancing between every course and not just the kind where people stand up and move a little, we’re talking the up on chairs kind! Stuff you normally see at the end of the night.
But beyond all the physical things that made this day so beautiful it all came down to these two. Two people who literally had a smile on all day, even with some rain looming over your outdoor ceremony, which stung a little considering the previous day was a mini heatwave (You know the one, where the UK was hotter than the Maldives!), which would annoy most brides, but not our Ashleigh!
Anyways I’ve ranted long enough, get scrolling!
